Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A charitable organisation desiring to conduct negotiations and make arrangements for the adoption of children may apply in writing to the chief executive for approval as a private adoption agency.
(2) An application under subsection (1) must state the name of a person resident in the Territory appointed by the organisation to be its principal officer in the Territory for this Act.
