The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as
follows:

 1   1            Name of Act
 2                This Act is the Duties Amendment Act 2010.

 3   2            Commencement
 4                This Act commences on 1 July 2010.
 5                Note         The naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on
 6                             the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

 7   3            Legislation amended
 8                This Act amends the Duties Act 1999.

 9   4            Rate of duty
10                Section 208 (2) (b) (v)
11                omit

12   5            Dictionary, definition of motor vehicle
13                substitute
14                motor vehicle means a motor vehicle or trailer within the meaning
15                of the Vehicle Registration Act, but does not include a caravan or
16                camper trailer.
