The Alternative Law Journal is a bi-monthly law journal. Issues are published in February, April, June, August, October and December. For information about upcoming themes visit the Alternative Law Journal's website.
The Alternative Law Journal is an Australian refereed journal. It contains articles, briefs, book reviews, summaries of legal developments in the states and territories as well as regular special interest columns. The journal focuses on the following issues:
- promotion of social justice issues
- critique of the legal system
- development of alternative practice
- community legal education
- support of law reform activity
