This conference dealt with the revision process of the Indigenous and Tribal Populations Convention 1957 (107). (see 24 AboriginalLB p.11 & 28 AboriginalLB p.8 for previous articles on ILO 107).

U.N Working Group On Indigenous Populations (WGIP)
25-29 July, 1988

This conference will be working towards the finalisation of a Draft Declaration on the rights of indigenous populations. WGIP will address such questions as self-determination and Land Rights. (see AboriginalLB Nos 15,16,19,24 & 28 for articles tracing WGIP's development of a Draft Declaration through the UN process).
