Obtaining the Report in computerised form


This Report is also available in computerised form. The computerised version
is entitled Information Technology in Complex Criminal Trials - the AIJA
Workstation, and is published by the Australian Institute of Judicial
Administration. The computerised Report has been created by the use of the
DataLex Workstation Software, to allow searching of the text by free text
retrieval and browsing of the text as hypertext. A run-time version of the
software has been provided to the AIJA by DataLex Pty Ltd for the purposes
of distribution with the computerised Report. The DataLex Workstation Software
combines free text retrieval, hypertext and inferencing technologies. It runs
under the DOS, DOS/Windows, Macintosh and Unix operating systems. It was
developed as part of other joint work by the authors of this Report, and was
written by Andrew Mowbray.
