error-checking. New South Wales and other State reporting services
already spell-check transcript, and that is also desirable.

   Court Reporting Services should be encouraged to develop error and
   consistency-checking software such as the Catscan software in use in
   South Australia, and to use it to check all transcript which is
   provided to the courts or the parties for use in litigation support
   databases.
