STATEMENT OF ADJUDICATOR’S REASONS FOR DECISION - REF

"Camford Place" CTS 29152
Application
Camford Place Community Titles Scheme (Camford Place) is a 3 lot
scheme under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act (Act)
and the Act’s Small Schemes Module Regulation (Small
Schemes).
Camford Street Pty Ltd (applicant) owns all
lots in the scheme. The applicant submits that the body corporate has never
held a general meeting and nominates Dr John
Bashford to chair the first annual
general meeting of the body corporate. Dr John Bashford has provided his
consent to this nomination.
Decision
I am satisfied that it is appropriate to authorise John Bashford, the nominee of the applicant, to call and chair a general meeting of the body corporate to place the scheme on a proper legal foundation. The procedures in the Small Schemes Module governing the holding of a first annual general meeting should be complied with as far as is practicable.
Order
For these reasons, I make the order above.
